About us
I have been involved in the provision of safety services and training for over 30 years, leaving the Governments' Skills Training Agency as a higher instructional officer in 1992 to set up ABA Safety Services, providing Training and Safety Services.
I have been appointed the 'competent person' by a number of small to medium size business in the Norwich and Norfolk area. Employers are required to appoint one or more competent persons by Regulation 7 of The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, to provide health and safety assistance in the setting up of health and safety management systems thereby ensuring that they comply with relevant statutory health and safety laws. This also includes carrying out an initial safety inspection and preparing a written report with recommendations for improving health and safety performance.
